THE REV. CANON T. CREIGHTON JONES, Rector.  Canon Jones was born in Greenville, SC, and after high school attended Furman University.  Later he graduated from the University of Alabama with a BS degree in Management Science.  Canon Jones spent most of his career in the textile, apparel and home furnishings industries and at one point owned an apparel company.  In 2001, he entered St. Andrews Theological College and Seminary where he earned his Masters in Theology Degree.  He was ordained to the Deaconate in 2002 and to the Priesthood in 2003.  During his last year at St. Andrews, he was involved in the Clinical Pastoral Education program at Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC, where he served as the weekend chaplain.  Canon Jones and his wife Patricia are the parents of two daughters (Amber of Bluff City, TN, and Lara of Myrtle Beach) and they have three grandchildren.  Canon Jones also has two daughters by a previous marriage.  Canon Jones serves as an instructor in Parish Administration at St. Andrews and serves the Archdiocese as Director of Mission Development.  He also serves on the National Council and has been nominated to serve on The Board of Directors at St. Andrews.  He is past President of the Myrtle Beach Ministerial Association.  Canon Jones enjoys cooking, camping, fishing and reading.  His favorite pastime is walking on the beach and spending quiet time with his wife of 39 years and their devoted little Shih Tzu, Sassi.


THE REV. FR. JAMES W. MURRAY, Curate. Fr. Murray was born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Upon graduation from High School, he relocated to Washington, DC, where he attended Southeastern University and later George Washington University, where he earned an Associate in Arts degree and a Bachelor of Science degree. Upon graduation from college, he entered on duty as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). He retired from the FBI in December, 1987, and, thereafter, was appointed Chief of the Spartanburg, South Carolina, County Sheriff’s Office. In 1991, he and his family relocated to Surfside Beach, South Carolina, where he was employed as Deputy Chief Investigator for the 15th Judicial Circuit Solicitor's Office; in 1996, he became a contract investigator for the Department of Defense; and, finally, was President of his own investigative agency, Interstate Investigations, Ltd. In 2003, Fr. Murray entered the deaconate school of St. Luke and St. Paul in Charleston, South Carolina, and in September 2005, he was ordained a deacon in the Episcopal Church. In 2006, he enrolled in St. Andrew's Theological College and Seminary in Lexington, North Carolina, from where he earned his Masters in Theology degree. He was ordained an Orthodox Anglican priest in August 2007 and was assigned to Good Shepherd Anglican Church, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, as the Curate.  Fr. Murray serves on the Orthodox Anglican Church (OAC) National Board and on the Board of Trustees of St. Andrews Theological College and Seminary.  Fr. Murray is married to Bernadine Murray, also a former FBI employee, and together they have four children, James, Stephanie, Stacey and Jeffrey, and ten grandchildren.
